Autor se zabývá otázkou studia raněnovověké češtiny (16.–18. století). Dosavadní zkoumání se totiž většinou bohužel soustřeďuje stále jen na některé jazykové roviny (např. hláskosloví apod.).

The author discusses problems of the research of Early Modern Czech (from the 16th to the 18th century). Unfortunately, the research still mostly focuses only on some levels of the language (e. g. on fonology and the like).
