A traffic network has several types of roads: historical centre, peripherals, arterial roads, etc. They have specific properties. For a traffic analysis, large amounts of data are needed. Some traffic data are difficult to obtain due to their rare
occurrence. Typical example is the investigation of traffic accidents. In these cases, data from other similar roads can be used. In such cases, an expert intervention added to the general analysis is very important. In this paper, the logistic regression with two types of expert intervention is briefly introduced. The performance of these methods is demonstrated on examples concerning seriousness of traffic accidents.Workplace Institute of Information Theory and Automation Contact Markéta Votavová, votavova@utia.cas.cz, Tel.: 266 052 201.
