    Microcomposites of PANI with two different layered phosphonates, zirconium 4-sulfophenyphosphonate and zirconium 4-carboxyphenylphosphonate, were prepared by two ways - surface polymerization and polymerization in the presence of the host pre-intercalated with aniline. The microcomposites were characterized by powder X-ray diffraction, thermogravimetry and infrared and Raman spectroscopies. The electrical conductivity of the prepared materials was also determined.
