    The probiotic bacterium Escherichia coli strain Nissle 1917 has previously been shown to alter the pharmacokinetics of amiodarone. The aim of this study was to determine whether the probiotic bacterium Lactobacilluscasei produces similar alterations in amiodarone disposition.
