V roce 1912 opustili Skupinu a tím i Umělecký měsíčník bratří Čapkové, Vlastislav Hofman, Josef Chochol a Václav Špála, všichni kromě Chochola se zapojili do nového projektu bratří Čapků, do Almanachu na rok 1914, který byl zaměřen spíše literárně než výtvarně. Článek prokazuje provázanost autorů Uměleckého měsíčníku a Almanachu na rok 2014. Description in English In the history of Czech modern culture there are two periodicals published before the onset of the First World War that play an important role: Art Monthly (1911-1914) and the Almanac for the year 1914. In 1912 Čapek brothers, Vlastislav Hofman, Josef Chochol and Václav Śpála left the group Skupina and thus Art Monthly. Except Chochol they all were involved in a new project by Čapek brothers, in the Almanac for 1914, which was focused more on literature than on visual art. The article demonstrate how closely tied were both revues.
