    AnnotationThe paper deals with the annotated translation of the Confucian canon into Latin, issued in Prague in 1711. Its author was François Noël (1651 to 1729), a Belgian (Flemish) poet, playwright and Jesuit in China. His Sinensis Imperii Libri Sex Classici contain a new translation of the first three of previously translated Four books and was supplement with the Mencius (Mengzi).
