Description in English The paper deals with the issue of language regulation attemps in Galicia organized in the years 1780-1790 as a part of Joseph II's centralisation politics. It provides the review and the brief analysis of the legal acts concerning the knowledge of languages within judiciary, state administration, education system and the Church.
