The broad band ECG measured by high density and high resolution monitors provide significantly better ECG quality and allows for more precise study of QRS morphology. We introduce a acquisition technology UHF-ECG M&I Prague that uses the high dynamic range (24-26 bits) high frequency (25 kHz sampling rate) ECG recording followed by new analytical procedures. The UHF-ECG components reflect spatial-temporal distribution of ventricular depolarization with excellent time resolution of 1 ms. Such temporal resolution is crucial for the accurate description of fast depolarization changes. There is no other technology which provides comparable resolution (ECHO, MRI). The V1-6 leads in UHF-ECG allow accurate measurement of ventricular depolarization timing especially in septum and left ventricle lateral wall.
