In the past 70 years, EPN research in the Czech Republic has contributed to the field with a number of important achievements in the systematics and ecology of entomopathogenic nematodes. This chapter summarises the results of a long term EPN research in the Czech Republic, and gives an overview of the use of EPNs in biocontrol and prospects for the future.
