AnnotationPresent study elucidate effect of an inhibitor of neuronal nitric oxide synthase on behavioral and physiological parameters. Our results show that in conscious rats 7-NI induces a rise in arterial blood pressure and significantly alters level of blood gases. 7-NI moreover affects locomotion and exploratory activity and induces walking incoordination and increases cortical excitability as revealed by electrophysiology
