However, the mechanism of its action remained obscure. Here we showed that transfer factor modulates the production of various cytokines by activated T cells and that the most profound immunoregulatory effect of transfer factort can be seen on the development of Th17 cells and interleukin-17 productiion. Transfer factor significantly enhanced the production of proinflammatory cytokine IL-17.
