Studie formuluje badatelský záměr, jehož výsledkem bude monografie věnovaná dvěma základním úhlům pohledu na literární realismus v českém prostředí v 19. století. Autor nejprve hodnotí dosavadní literaturu k tématu, a poté s ohledem na germanistické bádání posledních desetiletí nabízí nový úhel pohledu zejména na program tzv. ideálního realismu.

This study formulates a plan for a research project whose output will be a monograph dedicated to the two main viewpoints on literary realism in the Czech community in the 19th century. The author first evaluates the literature to date on this subject and then offers a new viewpoint, one taking into account Germanistic research in recent decades; this viewpoint mainly concerns the program of “ideal realism”.
