Annotation
Studie se zabývá životními osudy pražského staroměstského řeznického cechu v 15. století, zvláště v období husitské revoluce (1419-1436). Řeznický cech si udržel kompaktnost (žádný řezník neopustil město) a v této dramatické době dokonce posílil svou pozici.. Řezníci získali významnější zastoupení v městské radě, ve srovnání se situací před revolucí stoupl jejich počet téměř o 50% a mezi řemeslnickými cechy získali prestižní postavení.
Description in English
This study concerns the life stories of the Butcher´s Guild of the Prague Old Town in the 15th century, namely in the era of Hussite revolution (1419–1436). The conclusion is, that the Butcher´s Guild hold its compactness (any butcher didn´t leave the town) and made its positions stronger, even in this dramatic era. The butchers obtained the more significant representation in the Town Council, their number increased, in comparison with the situation before the revolution, nearly by 50% and among the craftmen´s guild they took the prestigious position.
