Tyto texty analyzují skupinu dvanácti rytin (Alegorický portrét Pietera Bruegela I., Svatba Amora a Psyché, Triumfující Řím, Merkur unášející Psyché, Triumf Moudrosti nad Nevědomostí, Diana překvapená Aktaiónem, Herkules a Omfalé, Minerva a Merkur vyzbrojují Persea, Venuše česající si vlasy, Sine Cerere et Baccho friget Venus, Amor a Psyché, Herkules a Antaios), které byly buď vytvořeny na dvoře císaře Rudolfa II v Praze nebo pro Rudolfa II někde jinde. Jejich zdroje jsou podrobně analyzovány a jejich většinou alegorický význam interpretován.

These texts analyze a group of twelve engravings (Allegorical portrait of Pieter Bruegel the Elder, The wedding of Amor and Psyche, Rome triumphant Mercury abducting Psyche, Triumph of Wisdom over Ignorance, Diana surprised by Actaeon, Hercules and Omphale, Minerva and Mercury arming Perseus, Venus combing her hair, Sine Cerere et Baccho friget Venus, Amor and Psyche, Hercules and Antaeus) which were either created at the court of Emperor Rudolf II in Prague or elsewhere for him. Their sources are analyzed in detail and their mostly allegorical meaning interpreted.
