Byla zavedena nová veličina pro lepší hodnocení tavicího procesu skel - využití prostoru - s cílem optimalizovat proces. Využití prostoru je přímo spojené s tavicím výkonem zařízení a spotřebou energie. Proces rozpouštění písku byl brán jako řídící děj.

A new quantity - space utilization - was introduced for better evaluation of the glass melting process with the aim to optimize the process. The quantity space utilization is directly connected with melting performance of the facility and its energy consumption. In this case sand dissolution in the melt was taken into account as the governing process.
