Diversity and host associations of aphid parasitoids (Hymenoptera: Braconidae: Aphidiinae) in the farmlands of western Iran.

Research realized in western Iran yielded 39 species of parazitoids belonging to 9 genera, which were determined to be associated with 54 aphid species occurring on 77 host plant species. Of the 129 parasitoid-aphid associations recorded, 49 are new to Iran. An illustrated identification key of the Aphidiinae of western Iran is added.
