Sociální třída však není jediným vysvětlujícím faktorem volebního chování, a její vliv v posledních sněmovních volbách na volbu stran v porovnání s rokem 2006 poklesl. Důvodů je celá řada. V porovnání s rokem 2006 více absentovali vyšší a nižší odborníci (tj. střední třída), kteří tradičně tvoří elektorát pravicových stran (zejména ODS), a kvalifikovaní a nekvalifikovaní dělníci (tj. nižší střední a dělnická třída), kteří představují hlavní část elektorátu levicových stran (u nás ČSSD). Dalším důvodem je změna struktury politických stran - nástup Věcí veřejných a TOP 09 a pád KDU-ČSL a Strany zelených. Description in English A chapter is devoted to analyses of the impact of class position and subjective social class on voting behavior in elections to the Chamber of Deputies in 2010. Social class is not the only explanatory factor of the voting behavior, and its impact on the electoral choice declined in the last general election in comparison to 2006. Reasons are numerous. Compared with 2006, high and low professionals (middle class) who make up the electorate traditionally right-wing parties (especially ODS) and skilled and unskilled workers (i.e. lower middle and working class) representing a major portion of the left-wing electorate parties absented in the elections. Another reason is the change in the structure of political parties - the emergence of Public Affairs and TOP 09 and the fall of the Christian Democrats and the Green Party.
