    AnnotationTitania-ceria mixed oxides have been intensively studied in the few past years [1] due to their high application potential as sensing gas sensors, electrode materials in electrochromic devices, coatings for self-cleaning surfaces, photocatalysts with visible light-induced activity, and supports of catalysts. Various preparation methods based on precipitation or on a more promising sol-gel process have been suggested and studied.
