Jedním z projevů autonomie menších obcí a měst se v posledních letech stává vymezování vlastního veřejného prostoru nejen uvnitř centra, ale i v krajině. V roce 2006 vypsalo město Chrudim soutěž na návrh rozhledny v městských lesích Podhůře. Městská rada vybrala projekt Bára, práci Martina Rajniše a jeho týmu e-MRAK. Martin Rajniš se v posledních letech věnuje experimentování s dřevěnými konstrukcemi. Při navrhování rozhledny Bára mu jako základní tektonický princip posloužila hráň – hranice, do které jsou kvůli vysoušení ukládány dřevěné fošny na pile.

In recent years, smaller municipalities and towns tend to manifest their autonomy by delineating their own public space, not only within the centre but also in the landscape. In 2006, the town of Chrudim held a competition for a lookout tower in the municipal forest Podhůra. The municipal council selected project Bára, the work of Martin Rajniš and his team e-MRAK. Rajniš has been experimenting extensively with wooden constructions. When designing Bára, he used rick stack – the pile in which lumber is stacked at sawmills to dry – as the basic tectonic principle.
