This article offers an introduction to the reception of quadratura painting and its main trends in Bohemia. It identifies different typological groups of perspective murals used in Bohemia, such as Bolognese polyfocal systems, perceptively more rigid monofocal systems based on examples by the Jesuit artist Andrea Pozzo, late baroque fictive low relief decorations and their mutual intergrowth.
