Annotation	Kniha představuje podrobné zpracování základních metafyzických otázek jednoho z hlavních představitelů období tzv. druhé scholastiky, kterým je František Suárez (1548-1617). Výklad Suárezových názorů je zasazen do kontextu hlavních proudů středověké scholastiky, tj. tomismu, scotismu a nominalismu. Postupně jsou probírána následující témata: předmět a povaha metafyziky, pojem jsoucna, teorie transcendentálních vlastností obecně, transcendentální jednota a její druhy, kterými jsou individuální (individuace), formální a univerzální jednota (univerzálie).
Description in English	The book presents the detailed elaboration of the basic metaphysical issues of one of the central representatives of the era of the so-called second, who is Francisco Suárez (1548-1617). The exposition of Suárez´s opinions is set into the context of the main medieval scholastic streams, sc. Thomism, Scotism and Nominalism. The following questions are dealt with in sequence: the object and nature of metaphysics, the concept of being, the theory of transcendental properties in general, transcendental unity and its kinds, which are individual (individuation), formal and universal unity (universals).
