AnnotationResults of collimated neutron transmission (NT) measurements performed on two limestone samples taken from Na Skrabku quarry, Chotec, Bohemia are presented and discussed in terms of the relation to the applied neutron optics parameters and microstructure characteristics of the tested samples. Arguments are found supporting conclusion that the observed orientation functions of neutron attenuation coefficient integrally reflect, through some anisotropic small angle scattering events, the level of orientation anisotropy of morphological hetero-structures present in the irradiated specimen volume.
