Nanofibre implants are innovative tools in fast growing field of tissue engineering. Smart, enriched nanofibre meshes could bring more advantages during one step intervention. It was shown that platelet enriched nanofibre meshes could function not only as a cell support material but also, through encapsulated platelets, contribute to cell proliferation and differentiation.
