Description in English This article discusses the rebellion of Vienna burghers against the Habsburgs (1309), Cracow uprising of the bailiff Albert against Władysław I the Elbow-high (1311-1312) and Old Town fight of the armed burghers against the Czech king John of Luxembourg (1319). All three events had several common denominators. First, as the originator can be considered an elite social class of the urban population, called patriciate. They were directed against landlord and the main motivation of these social classes represents dissatisfaction with existing conditions in the country.
