    AnnotationDrought can substantially reduce the positive effect of applied nitrogen on above-ground growth of expansive tall grasses. In comparison with Calamagrosits epegejos, Arrhenatherum elatius produced more above-ground biomass after application of nitrogen even in dry conditions.
