    The topic investigated within this PhD dissertation is interferometry in the XUV and soft X-ray spectral region. More specifically, this work will focus on devices operating in the interval of wavelengths ranging from about 5nm to about 60nm, which corresponds to photon energies approximately 20-250eV. The reason of our interest in this particular spectral region (classified as XUV or soft X-ray depending on literature) is due to recent progress in availability of high-brightness, pulsed, coherent sources emitting at wavelengths within this region.
