AnnotationThe problem concerned with Rayleigh-edge wave propagation in thin long-fiber reinforced composite panels is discussed in the paper. The influence of principal material directions on Rayleigh-edge wave velocity is studied. It was found that Rayleigh wave velocity depends significantly on directions of material axes. It was also proven that the problem solved is nondispersive.
