We analyze the mean-field model of the Potts glass with p<4 states in the asymptotic region below the transition temperature (Tc) to the glassy phase. We demonstrate that true equilibrium in the region of instability of the replica-symmetric solution (T < Tc), marked by the highest free energy, is a state displaying a continuous replica-symmetry breaking.
