AnnotationA series of polystyrene/silica nanocomposites with different inorganic nanofiller content (2, 5, 10, 15 and 30 wt. %) was prepared by evaporating of toluene solvent. The nanocomposite morphology was studied by scanning electron microscopy, the thermal stability was determined using thermogravimetry coupled with differential scanning calorimetry and the influence of the nanofiller content on glass transition temperature was followed by differential scanning calorimetry. The highest thermal stability of the nanocomposite belongs to ca. 18 % of silica content.
