Příspěvek se zabývá fenoménem mcdonaldizace v tvorbě dramatika Davida Drábka (* 1970). Nejprve se zaměřuje na specifické prostředky autorovy poetiky: na otevřenou strukturu her, míšení žánrů a pseudotransmediální montáž. Potom sleduje rysy mcdonaldizace a postupy její kritiky, jak je projektoval do svých her: nahrazení kvality kvantitou, zrušení rozdílu mezi skutečností a fikcí, zdůraznění aspektu zábavnosti, závislost na médiích, falešnost reklamy, osudek komercionalizace a úpadku komunikace.

The article deals with the phenomenon of McDonaldization in the work of a playwright David Drábek (born 1970). First it focuses on specific ways of the author´s poetic: on the open structure of plays, mixing of genres and pseudotransmedia montage. Then it follows features of McDonaldization and procedures of its critique projected in his plays: substitution of quality by quantity, abolishment of a difference between reality and fiction, emphasis of the aspect of amusement, addiction to media, falseness of advertisement, condemnation of commertionalization and decline of communication.
