AnnotationFatigue is a process of progressive and permanent internal damage in materials subjected to repeated loading. This is attributed to the propagation of internal micro–cracks that may result in the propagation of macro–cracks and unpredictable failure. To evaluate the fatigue results, the finite element method and CMOD were used for estimation of the corresponding values of stress intensity factor for the 3PB specimen used.
