Předneseno na konf.:Gordon Research Conference on Plasma Processing Science,New London,11-16.07.2010: Gasification of biomass and plastics was studied in the plasma reactor PlasGas with water/argon plasma torch. Syngas with high content of hydrogen and carbon monoxide and very low content of complex hydrocarbons and tar was produced. Energy and mass balances of the process are discussed. Special attention is devoted to utilization of CO2 for plasma assisted oxidation of carbon containing materials and transformation of CO2 to CO. The process can be used for energy storage-electrical energy is transformed to chemical energy of syngas.
