    AnnotationMesoporous silica-alumina (MSA) modified by acid leaching was studied as support for Pt catalysts in HDS of thiophene and benzothiophene. Leaching of MSA increased the BET surface area and acidity of support, which positively affected the activities of Pt catalysts in thiophene and benzothiophene HDS.
