Description in EnglishPhenomenology goes back to what is given. Yet, it differs in the interpretation of the givenness. So, Edmund Husserl and Jan Patočka, in his criticism of Husserl, relay on an intuitive givenness of phenomena as the ultimate basis of the evidence, whereas Michel Henry hints to the dependence of this kind of givenness from the revealedness of the experience itself in its self-giveness.
