Acid-sensing ion channels (ASICs) are neuronal voltage-insensitive cationic channels that are activated by extracellular acidification. We show that acid-induced ASIC current is enhanced by La- in isolated rat SON MNCs that express an AVP-eGFP transgene suggesting that interaction between ASICs and La- in the SON plays an important role in the regulatory mechanism of body fluid homeostasis Workplace Institute of Experimental Medicine Contact Lenka Koželská, lenka.kozelska@iem.cas.cz, Tel.: 241 062 218, 296 442 218 Year of Publishing 2011
