AnnotationThe catalogue presents a list of finds of Greek, Roman and early Byzantine coins (5th century B.C.–7th century A.D.) from Bohemia. It is a 50 971 square kilometre region territory which corresponds with a present administrative structure without reference to historical boundary between Bohemia and Moravia. From this part of Barbaricum there are 768 finds registered within the total number of 841 separate entries. Fully 5032 coins are recorded in total in the catalogue, 3349 of which are at least partly described. The catalogue is divided according to the regions, each district is ranked in alphabetical order. All preserved coins are described in detail here and they are - as far as possible - depicted, too (tables 1–61). The catalogue is completed by maps and by a sites index ranked in alphabetical order.
