Uvádí knihu do kontextu diskusí, které byly a jsou vedeny nad pojmem „conditio humana“ od Aristotela po Jürgena Habermase a sleduje, jak jej autoři jednotlivých textů obsažených ve sborníku reflektují a nahlížejí ve vztahu k historické antropologii, která je společným konceptuálním těžištěm sborníku.
The text is a review of the proceedings Conditio humana – konstanta či historická proměnná? Koncepty historické antropologie a teoretická reflexe v současné historiografii. Sborník příspěvků z workshopu Antropologie – historie – teorie“ . Praha, Fakulta humanitních studií Univerzity Karlovy 2007. It contextualizes the reviewed publication in the long-running discussion around the conception of the “conditio humana” from Aristoteles till Jürgen Habermas, and observes, how the authors of the texts reflect this conception in the relation to the field of historical anthropology that is the commonplace of the texts in the proceedings.
