PKC activity and isoform expression was studied in neonatal rats subjected to aortic constriction early after birth (postnatal day two). Accelerated cardiac growth induced by pressure overload was associated with transient upregulation of PKC-alpha, PKC-delta and PKC-epsilon without major changes in their subcellular distribution
