AnnotationSubtelomeric DNA repeats from species of Nicotiana were isolated and patterns of their inheritance in alloploids arising during 0.2 to 5 million years were analysed. Methods of sequence analysis, Southern analysis and FISH, were used. Redistributions, amplification and evolution of new satellites were found.
