A two-week PhD seminar course covering a broad spectrum of topics in molecular biology and biomedicine. The course has a long tradition and was attended by about 150 PhD students. The course was made of over forty lectures organized into nine thematic blocks. In addition, it included two workshops: career development workshop on 12th of November where representatives of successful Czech biotech companies shared their experience with students, and "bugs and beasts" workshop on invertebrate model systems where PhD students and postdocs presented their favorite model systems.
