Tm 0.1% doped BaY2F8 single crystal was grown by the μ-PD method. Crystal growth was performed in high-purity mixed gas of CF4 and Ar. Small rectangular samples were cut from the grown crystal and polished for the measurements of optical and scintilation properties.
Monokrystal BaY2F8 dopovaný 0,1 % Tm byl připraven metodou μ-PD. Růst krystalu byl prováděn ve směsi plynů CF4 a Ar vysoké čistoty. Z monokrystalu byly odříznuty malé obdélníkové destičky, na kterých byly měřeny optické a luminiscenční vlastnosti.
