Studie mapuje Kramářovu účast na mírové konferenci v Paříži a přibližuje premiérovu osobitou reflexi jejího průběhu i kritické hodnocení „pařížských“ poměrů. Pramennou náplň příspěvku tvoří vzájemná osobní korespondence K. Kramáře a T. G. Masaryka z roku 1919. Pařížské reference z pera Karla Kramáře jsou v obecné rovině cenným zdrojem informací o formulování zásad československé zahraniční politiky a o utváření její koncepce, současně mj. dokládají názorovou konfrontaci mezi prezidentem a ministerským předsedou na dané téma.

The study covers Kramář's participation in the Peace Conference in Paris. It shows the Premier's personal reflective impressions on the course of the conference as well as his critical evaluation of the Paris conditions. It is based on the correspondence between K. Kramář and T. G. Masaryk between January and September 1919. The Paris memoirs of Karel Kramář are a valuable source of information on forming the principles and conception of Czechoslovak foreign policy. In this respect they also reveal confrontations between the President and the Prime Minister.
