Negativní vliv na lesní obnovu však mají jen hojné druhy, které se v době omezené potravní nabídky živí ve značné míře kůrou mladých stromků. Těmito druhy jsou v našich podmínkách norník rudý, hraboš polní a hraboš mokřadní. Description in English Many rodent species inhabit natural forest ecosystems. Impact on forest regeneration is caused above all by dominant species. In time of food resources restriction they may eat the bark of young trees. The impact of debarking is done by bank vole, common vole and field vole, the most important pest species in forest habitats.
