Annotation	In this chapter the authors focus on the integration of foreigners into so-called ‘core’ institutions, which determine a migrant’s socioeconomic status, opportunities, and available resources. Special attention is given to the access to the social security system, to the health care system, to the education system, and last but not least to the labour market.
