AnnotationMethod of cation exchange capacity analysis of soil and sediment samples with chelate of Cu2+ a 1,4,7,10-tetraazadecane was optimized, the stability of the method in small departures of the recipe in routine analyses was checked, and the results were compared with normalized BaCl2 method. The method was then demonstrated in the study of sediment profiles (lake, river, and soil sediments) and their stratigraphic correlation.
