AnnotationWind-tunnel experiments often struggle with unexpected axial asymmetry of velocity and consequently concentration results for a strictly symmetrical model set-up. This paper poses reasons which can cause asymmetry in flow field. The source could be in inlet conditions, model arrangement as well as in inadequate measuring method with LDA system.
