AnnotationDiscrete breathers created in the immediate neighborhood of an impurity were introduced to explain an experimentally observed decay anomaly of the slow emission component in doped alkali halides. We study the effect of temperature on these breathers to find a correlation with the corresponding dependence of the anomaly as seen in experiments.
