AnnotationThe optical band gap values of the (Bi2O3)x(WO3)y100-x-y and (PbO)x(WO3)y(TeO2)100-x-y glasses were found in the narrow region 3.21 - 3.36 event. The Raman features observed at around 350 cm-1 were assigned to an overlap of Raman bands attributed to WO6 corner shared octahedra and the following three atomic linkages: Bi-O-Te, Pb-O-Te, W-O-Te.
