AnnotationPolyaniline phosphate was synthesised by the oxidation of aniline in an aqueous environment containing ammonium peroxodisulfate and phosphoric acid. The morphology of polyaniline was characterised by means of scanning electron microscopy. Epoxy ester coatings containing 3-24 vol.% of PANI as corrosion inhibitor were formulated and tested for corrosion protection.
