    AnnotationA novel chiral-photochromic side-chain polyacrylate wih azobenzene fragments in the side groups was synthesised. It was shown, that polymer forms smectic phase and cholesteric supramolecular helical structure displaying the selective light reflection in IR spectral range. Thin spin-coated films of the polymer were prepared and their photo- and chirooptical properties were studied in detail. Circular dichroism (CD) measurements revealed the formation of the helical supramolecular structure even in the initial spin-coated polymer films.
